Local award-winning hip-hop singer Edo Lutete, popularly known as Dice, is back on track with a new single, titled ‘Botsotso’.
The single was released last week and the accompanying video marketed via social media mustered 4 500 viewers on Youtube and Facebook within three days of its release.
The song was written by Dice and produced by MZ. The video was shot and directed by DBR. One can describe it as punchy, catchy and aggressive, yet inspiring. It would seem that ‘Botsotso’ has given music fans reason to sit up and take notice of this forward-thinking rapper and hip-hop producer.
“At this point I’ve got a number of songs that are already to record. Most of the songs have the potential to be singles. So, it’s a difficult decision for me that I will have to make when it comes to the selection of the songs to be in my next album, which will include 13 songs,” says Dice.
He promises fans a real ride when it comes to his music enticing them to look forward to the much-anticipated upcoming album due for release at the end of the year.
“I have a lot going on as a young Namibian living in the city, but the music aspect remains a priority for me this year. I have a duty to perform, not only to my fans but the country at large,” he says.
Dice is known for hit songs, such as ‘Okashushu on a Mission’, featuring Jericho and ‘If I could’.
