The competition in the luxury compact Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment has continued to heat up as Jaguar finally launched its all new F-Pace into the market. The much anticipated SUV was unveiled for the first time in Mauritius this week. And in case you wondering to what can you compare the F-Pace, here is the list: Range Rover Evoque, Audi Q5, Mercedes GLC, and the Porsche Macan. And that can be taken further, in terms of rear carrying capacity: with 605-litres the F-Pace has the biggest space of them all. The Evoque come closest at 575 litres, the GLC has 550 litres, the Q5 is at 540 litres and the Macan has the smallest of all at 500 litres.
The engines including the 3.0 litre V6 280kW Supercharged Petrol and the new 2.0 litre 4 cylinder 132kW Turbocharged Diesel Ingenium engine, which can achieve 5.3l/km and CO2 emissions as low as 129g/km. For sheer sports performance, there is also available a 3.0L 220kW Diesel Turbocharged AWD engine. The price starts from N$776 800 for the F-Pace Pure model while for the F-Pace First edition price starts from N$1,2 million. There are also choice for the F-Type S, the F-Type R Sport.

Passengers will have access to heated and electrically reclining rear seats, while drivers benefit from cutting-edge technologies like the InControl Touch Pro infotainment system, a 12.3-inch HD virtual instrument cluster, and a laser head-up display. F-PACE will also introduce Jaguar’s revolutionary Activity Key – a wearable accessory that also serves as a key fob, designed for those with active lifestyles.
