This sexy woman is none other than Meriam Kaxuxwena. A runway model and entrepreneur, surely she not only knows how to choose the right timing but how to pull off a show that is exciting enough to leave many in Awe as well. From the runway shows to unveiling, an exclusive swimwear collection that’s both fashionable and flattering that how far she has come. Meriam introduced her first bikini collection, known as MK Swimwear, making sure the venue was packed and her collections meets every bikini lover’s fantasy.
Displayed in sets of African print, Variety and Black Avant-Garde, the one-pieces, bikinis, cover-ups and men’s swimming trunks were made more intriguing by how the models kept the show effortlessly cool, fun and playful. Guests were fascinated and phone cameras were snapping away as models killed the catwalk, blew kisses at the crowd and bounced across the runway with the bubbly spirit and energy of high schoolers. And we all know nothing compliments a bikini show more than models that are firm, toned and strong muscles.
The effect of the collection was mesmerism on the audience, especially women, as it gave them fashionable swimwear choices beyond the beach. The colours of the suits are very vibrant and the African detail certainly creates that sought after resort-inspired look that you simply can’t ignore. Not forgetting the different patterns that brought out that lush and fun in the collection.
The designs are simple, something you could actually wear to the pool without drowning in it. The swim line is not inclusive of one piece suits but also a plus-sized selection, making sure no one is left out. The less than three hours show drew attention of women who enjoyed the freedom of wearing bikinis and surely did not disappoint. The collection is priced at N$300 and Meriam plans to open a shop in Town Square in Windhoek where it will be available for “bikini buffs”.
After the show she also announced that supporters can look forward to another fashion show, which will showcase her lingerie line just before the next Valentine’s Day.
