Immanuel ‘Prince’ Naidjala has become the latest addition to an already jam-packed and exciting boxing bonanza to take place on December 5 at the Ramatex Hall, that will see two-time world champion, Paulus ‘The Rock’ Ambunda, making his first world title defence.
Naidjala who is the current WBA African champion, will face Toto Helebe for the lucrative WBO International title. Toto is the former South African champion and current WBA Pan-Africa champion with a record of 27 fights, 23 wins and only 4 losses, while Naidjala boasts an impressive record of 24 fights, 21 wins, 1 draw and only 2 losses.
“Clinching this title is important for Naidjala as it will guarantee him a place in the top 15 WBO world ratings. Once you are in the top 15, anything can happen. You can get a call from the champion anytime for a voluntary defence of the title which gives you a bite at the world title,” said promoter Nestor Tobias.
“I am very excited about this fight since coming out of a win not so long ago. My fans can therefore look forward not just to another win, but great entertainment in the manner I will go about it,” said an excited Naidjala.
Boxing fans can therefore look forward to a great Christmas treat as the night will see the likes of Bethuel ‘Tyson’ Uushona vs Izinyoka in a local derby that is sure to steal the night, while the likes of Abmerk Shindjuu and Jafet Uutoni will also do battle.
Tickets to the event are already on sale at Computicket. VVIP tables sell for N$10 000, VIP tickets for N$500 and general tickets for N$100.
