Ananias Kamati, a teacher from Augustineum high school accused of killing two Kuaseua sisters a week ago, has died.
He has been fighting for his life in a Windhoek hospital after he, in an apparent suicide attempt, drank acidic battery water. Kamati was expected to appear in court on Monday this week, but could not make it as he remained bedridden in hospital. One of the slain sisters, with whom he allegedly had an intimate relationship, was his learner at Augustineum. Kamati taught Otjiherero language at the school.
