The No Mercy Part 4 Boxing Bonanza slated for this weekend at the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino, has received a much-needed boost with the addition of Julius ‘Blue Machine’ Indongo to the billing.
Initially, the likes of Immanuel ‘Prince’ Naidjala and Sakaria ‘Desert Storm’ Lukas were to headline the event with their WBA titles defence fights, but the addition of the skillful, fast and furious Indongo will add a new dimension to the night’s proceedings.
Indongo will defend his WBO African super lightweight title against the tough Zolani Marali from South Africa. Even though his world title fight against Russian IBO world champion Eduard Troysovsky was postponed, Indongo will this weekend be out to keep his record clean in the hope of securing world title fights in the near future.
“Boxing fans are therefore in for a serious boxing feast as the bonanza now boasts three international titles on the same night. Julius is in top shape and has promised, ‘die poppe sal dans’ come 3rd October,” said promoter Nestor Tobias.
The main bout will see Naidjala take on Cebo Ngema of South Africa for the WBA Pan African title, while the supporting bout will be a tough and interesting local derby between two young fighters Sakaria Lukas and Nathanael ‘Sir’ Kamati for the vacant WBA Pan African Featherweight title.
