Namibian Afro Pop, Dancehall and Kwaito Namibian singer, currently based in South Africa (SA), Ganda Krispien Masango, popularly known as Nosholola, has shot his new, innovative and fresh video titled Pump it Up.
According to Nosholola, the video, shot in Cape Town recently, is dedicated to his fans and will be released early next month. He says the video is a foretaste of his untitled upcoming debut album to be released by the end of this year.“I am looking forward to hear from my fans back home, I made a preview of my debut music video in Cape Town and the response was quite good, hence I decided to promote it worldwide. I will be dropping the music video officially in August,” says Nosholola.
The music video was shot by RM Media and recorded by Sleg Music label. “This is a big thing to me and the Sleg Music as a start off. My fans and music lovers will be expecting a lot from the Sleg label with my fellow artists such as Melo, Henny Jive and Clouds,” he says.
Born 21 years ago in Okahandja, Nosholola has been known as one of the fastest upcoming and fast growing artists in Namibia after performing at various events such as schools concerts and opening different shows for the likes of The Dogg, Gazzza, Exit and Mushe, with his long time friend Naboth Ndjulume, aka Appluase. His name, Nosholola, is after his hit single released in 2010. He says the song was well received by the music lovers and was a breakthrough for him in the music industry. In 2009, Nosholola created his label, Sleg Music, with Melo, Clouds and Applause. As an artist, he is inspired by life. “As an upcoming artist, it was never easy. I had to do everything on my own, for example paying for my music to be played when I perform. As my name says Never Give Up, I have done it until far,” he says.
