The Namibia Football Association’s (NFA) local coaches’ empowerment initiatives continue this week with 37 aspiring coaches attending an Introductory Coaching Course at Football House.
The week-long course started Monday and ends on Friday, after which participants will receive certificates of attendance enabling them to quality for the upcoming and sought-after C-License Coaching License course.
The instructors, headed by NFA technical Director Klaus Staerk, will also discuss dribbling exercises, planning and arrangement of training sessions and basic passing exercises. The other instructors are Bobby Samaria, Timothy Tjongarero and the 2015 COSAFA Cup winning coach, Ricardo Mannetti.
Practical training tips, keeping possession, shooting exercise and youth training will also be covered. Esteemed NFA referees instructor Franciscka Katjaimo will be on hand to share and introduce participants to the Rules of The Game.
