Local amateur golfer Hafeni Nghinamwaami is well on course for the much-cherished green jacket in the Heineken golf tournament after a faultless display in the A Division at the Windhoek Country Club, last weekend.
Nghinamwaami, carded a 69 nett to cement his place in the final of the three series tournament to be staged in September later this year.
Sakkie Matheus returned the compliment to Nghinamwaami as he triumphed in the B Division with an identical score, while Clinton Dodds shot an impressive 68 nett in the C Division.
The competition consists of three tournaments with the winners in each category advancing through to the finals.
Handicapped golfers from 0 to 8 are allowed to compete in the A Division, with 9-16 in the B Division, while the 17-24 handicaps will battle it out in the C Division.
