Tunacor Fisheries Limited yesterday donated 152 boxes of fish to various hostels in the country.

Handing over the donation the liaison officer of Tunacor, Nurella Ngozu, said the gesture was in line with the Government’s initiative of ‘Eat more Namibian fish for life’, which encourages fish consumption among Namibians.

Ngozu said over recent weeks, the country has continued to receive heavy and widespread rains, which have left many people homeless and unable to fend for themselves and their families.

As a result, she said, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Namibia approached the company to support its affected hostels across the country.

“Tunacor decided to take up the challenge of providing both financial and logistical assistance, where possible, to the affected families,” she said.

“We will distribute 3??????’??
