Former Namibia Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) Director General, Gerry Munyama, and his co-accused Theodor Engelbrecht made another appearance in the High Court yesterday.
The two who are facing charges of fraud, alternatively theft, forgery and uttering, appeared before Justice Sylvester Mainga.
The case was set for pre-trial, yesterday, but it was postponed to March 20 for another pre-trial hearing.
Before granting the postponement, Mainga noted that the Prosecutor General’s office should look into the matter of postponed cases which come from the regional courts.
According to him, cases from the regional courts are transferred to the High Court for trial, not pre-trials and postponements.
“This case has been going on for too long as far as I am concerned, but it keeps on being postponed – you should make sure that this matter is remanded for trial,” said Justice Mainga.
The duo are out on bail, which was extended to their next court appearance.
