Photographer, Helga Khol, and visual artist, John Sampson, will be launching a new gallery in March.
“We have secured premises at 141 Werner List Street, Windhoek, and will start preparing the space for the launch.
All artists are invited to apply for exhibiting in the new space,” said Sampson in a release.
He said they intend to make the new gallery a premium exhibition venue.
“Our new venture will be known as Galerie FUSION and the new contact information details and a website should be available soon,” he said.
With the exception of the Namibia National Art Gallery a number of privately owned art galleries have sprung up in and around the capital over the past few years.
Many of these private galleries have been established either to compete with or to complement the work of the Namibia National Arts Gallery.
