Finns Mark 90 years of Independence

WINDHOEK

Finland this week celebrates its 90th anniversary after gaining independence on December 06, 1917, it was announced by the Finnish embassy in Windhoek.

A formal celebration function for Finnish citizens and invited Namibian guests is planned at the official residence.

In an historic overview of the country, it is stated that the Finnish Parliament Act adopted in 1906 created Finnish democracy:ǟ
