The usually quiet town of Nkurenkuru in the Kavango became alive abruptly a week ago when various political parties showed their mettle by contesting the first-ever Local Authority Election.
Blowing car horns and blaring loud speakers electrified the town’s atmosphere as early as eleven o’clock in the morning as crowds assembled at the various star rally points.
