Cabinet Decisions Up for Review

WINDHOEK The Cabinet meets today and tomorrow (November 27 and 28) to review the implementation of Cabinet decisions since the beginning of 2006. During the meeting, ministers are expected to make presentations on their programmes and the status of implementation, also to discuss challenges and constraints, stakeholder participation and community benefits, and employment creation resulting from such programmes. Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, said last week the Cabinet Annual Review meeting has been arranged to give the necessary attention to issues of politics and governance, finance and economy, social, defence and security. She said enough time had been allocated to allow for proper discussions under each of the four main issues which will be presented before President Hifikepunye Pohamba.
