By Frederick Philander WINDHOEK The Tchitula Brothers and Omidi Afrique bands are to entertain Angolans living in Namibia tomorrow in front of the Angolan embassy in the capital, it was announced in a press statement. “On the occasion of Angolan Independence on 11 November, the embassy of the Republic of Angola in Namibia will be hosting this Saturday a musical gathering with Angolan and Namibian musicians,” the official statement said. The musical event starts at 15h00 and will run till late on the same day. “During the gathering a video exhibition depicting post-war Angola will be shown and a lecture on Independence will be conducted. All Angolan residents are invited to participate in the event,” the release stated.
