FNB Appoints Two New Chiefs


By Francis Tsawayo The First National Bank Namibia Holdings CEO Vekuii Rukoro has announced the appointments of Dixon Noval as Head of Strategic Marketing and Communications, and Kanandei Tjivikua as Senior Manager: Cooperate Business Development. Noval who took office on the first of last month is a well-versed Namibian who brings with him a reservoir of banking experience, the CEO said. Noval holds an International Executive MBA (Cum Laude and top of class) Master of Arts (Cum laude), B.A. (Honours) and is a seasoned marketer with relevant financial management knowledge and experience in the banking environment. Currently Noval is serving his second term as Director of Team Namibia, where he is assigned to market and promote the products as well as services of Namibian people and companies. In addition he played a pivotal role in the establishment of the imitative. Tjivikua, who assumed duty with the FNB at almost the same time as Noval, also comes on board bringing with him immense knowledge and experience of over 20 years in the banking sector. Tjivikua holds an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management in The Netherlands and obtained from the Institute of Bankers in South Africa, a FIBSA status, a CAIB (SA), an Advanced Credit Diploma and a Certificate in Banking. Tjivikua is also a holder of a National Diploma in Commerce from the Polytechnic of Namibia and a management Development Programme Diploma from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. Currently Tjivikua is a Trustee of Bankmed Namibia.
