WINDHOEK – Nudo Acting Deputy Secretary General Benestus Kandundu says the party has achieved its goals by strengthening its membership base in the Khomas Region, especially in Windhoek.
On Friday the party welcomed new members to the party in the capital.

Ten youths, mostly students at Unam, joined Nudo. “If you want to see changes in my Khomasdal Constituency, this is the party to join for a new Namibia,” said Beverley Katjivikua, a Unam Bachelor of Accounting third-year student.
Clarence Ramakuthla, a Namcol student said he believes in Nudo because it believes in equal rights for everyone.

Owen Tjiramba, Nudo Youth League Administration Secretary announced the party was going to hold a congress on November 9 -11 in Windhoek at Shalom Centre, Greiters near Brakwater and Heja Lodge.

He said that they have already structured six regional branches but were in the process of restructuring seven more, including Khomas which was to be done last weekend.
“All are invited to attend the congress,” he said.

Tjiramba said that the congress was going to discuss financial reports since the party’s disaffiliation from the DTA in 2003, the organisational report and policies for the youth.
