WINDHOEK - The Bankers Association of Namibia (BAN) has replaced its old logo that has been in use since the establishment of the association in 1997.
“The new logo is modern with a proudly Namibian association. The grey colour in the logo represents strength, stability, security, maturity and strength in character. The gold colour represents warmth and wealth. These are all attributes of the banking sector in Namibia that the Bankers Association of Namibia would like to entrench through the new logo,” said Christo de Vries, chairman of the Bankers Association of Namibia.
The Bankers Association of Namibia is made up of the four retail banks operating in the country – Bank Windhoek, First National Bank Namibia, Standard Bank Namibia and Nedbank Namibia.
“BAN recognised that its brand needed to be repositioned to more accurately reflect a modern and innovative association.
“The new logo of BAN will in future be used on all material and communication issued by the association and will ensure greater visibility of the association as it fulfils its role as an industry association,” said De Vries.
