The high demand for the Municipal bus service during week days has resulted in the City of Windhoek adjusting the departure times in the morning, starting at 05.30 to facilitate a smoother flow of transport service to the public, according to a notice released this week.
A trial adjustment which commenced from Wednesday 15 August to run through to this Friday will get the new slot up and running for commuters. The result of this will enable the City to officially introduce this new starting time for all morning routes at exactly 5h30, from all the first loading points.
Because of the bottleneck situation that has built up over a period of time with more people queuing for busses to get to school and work on time, the Municipality is encouraging clients to make use of the early trips.
