WINDHOEK – Ohlthaver and List (O&L) Group of Companies has reformed its corporate communication departments at various subsidiaries and established a new centralised corporate relations department in the group.

The new department comprises of Gideon Shilongo as the group manager for corporate relations and stakeholder relations. Patricia Hoeksema is the manager for corporate social responsibility. Both Hoeksema and Shilongo were executives at the O&L’ Namibia Breweries Limited. Roux-ché Locke is the new manager for external relations, while Cassius Moetie is the manager for internal relations.

Locke was serving as corporate executive in the O&L group while Moeti served as an executive for corporate relations at Namibia Dairies, another O&L subsidiary. Shilongo says the formation was done with “the purpose of increasing synergy, eliminating duplicity, increasing efficiency, improving coordination, reducing costs and harmonizing our corporate brand positioning to occupy appropriate positions and not being competitive towards one another.”
