WINDHOEK - A resurgent Western Suburbs will be out to silence their critics when the wealthy Khomasdal club welcome defending champions Neo Paints Reho Falcon at Suburbs Park in Khomasdal, in the pick of the Namibia Rugby Union MTC Premier League action this weekend.

After a sluggish start to their league campaign this term, Walter Donn’s charges appear to have finally rediscovered the kind of form that made them the envy of every rugby follower in the country in the last couple of years.

With home ground advantage and a large turnout by their vociferous supporters expected, the often-inconsistent Khomasdalers are the bookies’ favourite to come out tops in this much-anticipated encounter.

There is very little love lost between the two rugby giants and Saturday’s clash between the Namibian champions and hosts Suburbs is whispered in local rugby circles as a potential title decider, although four teams will contest the final spot before being crowned Namibian champions at the end of the current season.

Clashes between Suburbs and Falcon have never failed to live up to expectations and Saturday’s do or die clash promises to have all the ingredients of a real corker.

Both teams possess players in their armoury who are always willing, able and ready to run the ball whenever the situation allows and local rugby-action starved fans can brace themselves for a top class encounter on Saturday.
