ONGWEDIVA-Fresh Family, the Kwaito and RnB group’s long waited album, Gold Diggers is expected to be released end of this month.
The group of five members, B-Fresh, Z-Fresh, Palla-Fresh, V-Fresh and Papa Fresh has been working very hard on the release of the album. B-fresh says over the past few years they have been sweating and pushing it hard just to release their debut album. “First of all we just want to give our thanks to Deal Done Records and M-Jay for making our dreams come true, without those guys, we couldn’t have made it on this effort,” says B-Fresh.
Their album is named Gold Digger after everything they went through, all the struggles, trying to dig out all the possibilities that can make them release their album. “Since this is our first album, we made it as a introduction to our music career and we expect this album to be one of the top albums by Fresh Family. We also expect this album to outline who Fresh family really are,” says B-Fresh.
The album consists of 14 tracks, with seven of the songs produced by M-jay. Some of the hit songs on the album are track six featuring M-Jay and Aunne called Ladies Night, a special party song of which its party attributes become obvious once you listen to it.
Track Seven, Perfectness, an RnB love song, “is just about someone you trust so much and at the end of the day she or he will never appreciate what you have done for them,” says B-Fresh. Another hit song is Track 10, Hometown. “This song emphasis on our hometown, Ongwediva and Oshakati, all the hustler and how people welcomed us in the music industry plus the experiences we got along the music journey,” he explains.
M-Jay says the Fresh Family is one of the strongest group that he has ever worked with before, and with their talents and respect, he believes they will make it far. “To our fans, thanks for the support, the journey of success that you took with us. As a member of the Fresh Family, I just want to say, keep supporting local music, and remember, that, music are done by people, for the people…nastorovia,” B-Fresh signs off.
