OSHAKATI - This coming weekend’s FNB Classic Clashes promise adrenaline-pumping action on the netball courts and soccer fields.

More soccer matches take place between Ongha Senior Secondary School and the Nehale Senior Secondary School tomorrow morning at Ongha at 08h30, while Okatana Combined School and Haudano School confront each other at Okatana at 15h00.

Mwilla Modestus of the Okatana Combined School says they are very positive about the outcome of the game. “The team is looking forward to winning this match, because we prepared very well this year and played many friendly matches and tournaments where the team did fairly well.”

Yesterday, Etosha and Otjiwarongo Secondary Schools played in the netball section in Tsumeb. In last weekend’s action, Dr Lemmer and KM Gertze Schools met and the former won the rugby clash 40 - 26.

Fullback Leonard Basson was named Man of the Match. Basson from MK Gertze had instigated some great counter attacks and great defense and was rewarded with a try, but the highly-talented youngster could not lead his school to victory.
