Artists out to stir, shake and wake up

WINDHOEK-The FreshKidz-The Movement, has released their first single called Self Made featuring Shawty.

The group of four talented youth consists of CJ, JP, KING and Jihad. Their single was released last Friday. Manager, Natalie Mashaba, says the song Self Made is about how in this world of today, you can get lost in the propaganda of it all. “Life is fast, times are hard but you must stay true to your self, self-Made, not fake and living according to other people’s guidelines. The song’s lyrics emphasis on those issues and it gives out a strong message for all Namibian people,” she explains.

FreshKidz-The Movement, under the management of Muhle Solutions Artist Management Division (MSAMD), are the newest, hottest Hip-Hop movement in Namibia contrasting to other groups. They are just not a music assemblage, but are an establishment of young boys, endowed Namibian youths who aim to revolutionise the Namibia music scene.

With the release of their first single, the group promises to be unlike any other crew that the music scene has been introduced to this far bent on stirring, shaking and waking up the Namibian Hip-Hop scene.Their single, Self Made, inspires and alerts ones intellectual capacity as well as encouraging and motivating listeners.  “I believe these boys are set to change the course of the Namibian music industry. Soon we will be working with the likes of Soul Candi records, Crus from South Africa and many various local artists. I am certain that they will set a standard that other artists won’t be able to match up with,” says Natalie.

 

She urges all the potential sponsors to invest in them since she is aware the boys have the ability to make it far.  Their album is schedule for launch end August and the single is currently playing on all local radio stations.
