

WINDHOEK- World Music Day celebrations got hotter and more enjoyable when the Namib Cow Boy showed up on stage with his daughters performing a track called Welcome Namibia.
The Namib Cow Boy says that was his first time to perform on stage ever since he came to Namibia13 years ago. He kept on entertaining the crowd and backing up other performers from 10 h00 to 13h00.
My Beautifull One and Party Tonight songs by Dolar was one of the Congolese, Rumba and Soukouss that may have sounded well on the ears of the audiences at the celebration at the Palm Tree Park here.
Although he just performed midday, Dolar, who is just a recording artist, have been promising Namibian people and fans massive performances which turn out to be a great success. The Otjomuise Brass Band opened the event keeping the crowd busy entertained while people were waiting for the event to start rolling proper.
The Mighty Vocals Band exploded onto the stage showing their amateur dramatics of six songs they performed, Itemba Lami, Ena Ramuhona, Mami Soco, Onse Vader and Mighty Vocals, all Accapela songs that received a good respond from the crowd.
Elemotho, Famaz Attack, Formula Band, Omidi da’Afrigue, Savannah Unplugged and Ugly Creature, Castro Etondo, Axue and Birds, Jacques MushaandjaLala, Lee Lee, Ongoma Vanessa and Rumulus did not disappoint shouting and shaking it on stage throughout the day.
Equipped Dance Academy and Ongoma, also showed their real talents, and giving audiences closer attention with an interactive performance on stage as from 13h00 until the close of the celebrations by Lize Ehlers with her Jazz Fusion move. Almost every one present welcomed her and the show was a great accomplishment.
