WINDHOEK- The Ultimate Edge Production, an Oshiwambo film production company,  is to release two English movies end of this month.

The horror and comedy movie is called The Dream while the other, an action/drama is called February 23. Filmmaker, Khama Nakanduungile and the main actor in the movie Sacky Kanyada recently shared the production of the films with Art life. Since its launch in 2010, the comnpany has released up to six movies, Eembiti one and two, Natukotokeni, Nakiinyangele, Kakutu and Taxi which are are currently on the market.

At first, the company started with audio books were they had to write a book and put all the information in a device such as CD and DVDs. After success in this endeavour, the company became more popular. “This time, the respond we receive from the audience was that, not all the people enjoy the movies since some don’t understand the language and we have to take another step for all the movies lover to enjoy them in English as well,” says Sacky, the main actors in all the movies.

Their main aim is to educate, motivate and show the public out there that out through a movie one can learn something to avoid future mistakes. The company also make board game called The ultimate Empire. They are planning to take a promotional tour to the north and of the month just to promote their `oshiwambo movies.
