WINDHOEK - The 7th and final tournament of the annual DTS Maerua Superspar Beach Volleyball Series came to a conclusion in Windhoek last weekend, with 10 ladies, 10 men, 8 youth and 10 social 4-a-side teams amongst the entries.To determine the best individual player in the 2-a-side category, the format at the last tournament was changed to the King, Queen and Prince of the Beach competition.
Each player was obliged to play with different partners during the competition in an effort to determine the player with the best beach volleyball skills.
The 4-a-side division was played under the normal format. The overall winners after all seven tournaments throughout the 2009 series were crowned.
