WINDHOEK - The Institute for Open Learning (IOL) has received accreditation for its International Computing Drivers License courses from the Namibia Qualifications Authority.
The International Computing Drivers License is an internationally recognised qualification which places the world at the student's fingertips. "In conjunction with the NQA accreditation, the ICDL course attains a distinct superiority as IOL is now officially recognised and eligible to conduct the ICDL classes. The accreditation further illustrates that IOL seeks to ensure exceptional service delivery in the provision of state-of-the-art facilities, conforming to the NQA's stipulated requirements and the conducting of contact classes by our ICDL International qualified training staff," said Dr Dolores Wolfaardt, Acting Managing Director for the Institute for Open Learning. Dr Wolfaardt said the accreditation seeks to illustrate the dedication of the institute toward ICDL instruction in the country. "In furtherance of IOL's core prerogative, being the provision of educational opportunities to all, the course enables Namibians to participate in nation building and the governmental objectives enshrined in Vision 2030," she said.
