From U$200 – 000 to U$180 000
WINDHOEK – News just in, Big Brother Africa has slashed the winning prize of US$200 000 by 10 percent, bringing the amount that the winner of the Big Brother All Stars to US$180 000. This follows altercations and provocation not sanctioned by Biggie, stating that over the past week and a half housemates have displayed violent behaviour, disrespect for the show and plain disobedience, one of which was a hunger strike and a two-hour lockout, denying us the subscribers watching time, over food. The housemates however had a chance to regain the money. Being 31 you of the radar, one packman You are damn right that they are picking on you Sammi, and I feel for you, but eish seven years ago, Sammi you were cool, still fat and with a beer tummy. You could be forgiven for, but 2010 you still fat but more responsible and you are in the house with kids. No wonder they make fun of your music because they don’t understand it. More so, I checked and saw many disadvantages on you. Look first you old, secondly you got the one pack going, nothing to match against Hannington’s six pack or Uti’s mirror obsessed looks, Mwisho’s island boy looks, Munya’s rugby calves, Kaone’s rural poor skinny but at least he dances like he’s from Epukiro! Seriously, K-1 looks like these dancers from Kalahari – gomonatefela you should see when he does the swag dance and Yacob’s obelisk tallness. Sammi, you don’t stand a chance, so eviction party is on the cards for you one packman, like Natasha said. Meryl and Munya could it Merya or Munyl or simply M2 Don’t care what you say, but Munya got the winning prize of all, a five-minute shower sharing with bootylicious Meryl, what man would mind such a wicked request? Knowing Munya like he said, “Gentleman I feel very good this morning and my buddies back home will be envious when I say that I had a shower with a chick. Oh and the midnight tryst of sensual hot massages complete with candle wax, ‘word up nigga, say what you got your game one brother.” Meryl did say at one point that she likes the Zimbabwean actor, and knowing Munya from the near escapades with Lulu, we might just see a romance springing, much more like the cordial brotherly relations between Zanu-PF and Swapo Party – you get my drift. Paloma a descendant of the Great Shaka It is finally out – Paloma says she is a descendant of the great Zulu Warrior King Shaka, yep this breaking news revelations came on Monday night when our lady from Lusaka went to school Uti about niceties of not calling Yacob’s people a starving race. Uti and Yacob had a nasty broil, officially becoming Africa’s first official World War 1, Nigeria and Ethiopia, eish the tall one nearly lost all his marbles when Uti called him pee bob something (I don’t even know the word itself) but it was violence and ego testosterone out in the house. So a calmer Paloma tells Uti all about the race and people of Ethiopia and why Yacob got all messed up over a remark to the effect that “your people something”. It was an attack on culture and ethnicity by Uti towards Yacob and Yacob to Uti was about how people don’t like him and he has no future in Hollywood, maybe Nollywood, said Yabob. I told you when you get stars together, something major is about to happen, this won’t be the end of the battle of East and West Africa, you just wait and see. Uti, Hannington and Sammi up for eviction The real evictions are en-route and my take would be this, Sammi a likeable fellow, but being 31 and wanting to chill with 24-year-olds is not Ayoba. I think he is on his way home aboard Air Ghana flight G-149 to Accra come Sunday eviction. Hannington will stay only because he is pursuing Sheila for a romantic interlude. Uti will stay because there is just something in his naughty streak that women like about the man who does not wash his boxers. His bohemian side is enough to carry him all the way. But for now if you ask me what my opinion is of a potential winner, it will be the Morogoro man, his quietness is deafening but his straight up approach and laid back observation style makes him a threat, besides he is cool with any one and can also be a party dude. It’s too early to call, but Mwisho is certainly feeling it. And for the nominations! Munya nominated Uti and Sammi – but had thoroughly bizarre reasons! He said that he nominated Sammi because “he lives very far from Zimbabwe where I’m from”. Big Brother asked him to clarify his reason, but he stuck to his guns. Big Brother then questioned his reason for nominating Uti, but Munya gave the same reason and left the Diary Room quickly. Jennifer’s nominations were along the lines of breaking up the clique who she feels will nominate her for eviction sooner rather than later. She told Big Brother that she had noticed that “the gang” from season 2, namely Meryl and Lerato, were still very close, a fact that made her uneasy. Jennifer declared that that was the reason behind her nomination for the two ladies – saying she had nothing personal against them and conceding that her decision was based on playing the game. Hannington and Yacob both nominated Tatiana, because as Head of House, she has the power to save herself from eviction. Yacob’s second nomination was Paloma, because of her strong character. He added that there were “no hard feelings” but he just had to nominate her. Hannington’s second nomination was Sammi, because he felt that the Ghanaian was “always annoyed without any reason”, so perhaps it was time for him to go. While Uti struggled to choose housemates to nominate last week, he wasted no time this week in naming Paloma and Sammi as his nominees for eviction. He said that Paloma because “she’s cool and all but, she’s taking the game way too seriously”. He also gave the same reason as his rationale for nominating Sammi. Code nominated Lerato – because she had a tendency to provoke people and he doesn’t like that – and Sheila because “she may be nice” but he hasn’t clicked with her. Sleepy Meryl nominated Sammi because he was the one person that she had not clicked with and felt that he just does not fit in. She then nominated Yacob because she feels he is a “party pooper” and has a tendency to make things fall apart. Sheila nominated Sammi because she had heard someone in the house say that he did not feel like he fitted in, so she felt she was just making things easy for him. She then nominated Mwisho, simply because she said she had nobody else in mind. Paloma nominated Mwisho and Lerato because she felt that they are strong contenders, while Head of House Tatiana felt strongly about nominating Hannington, telling Big Brother that she thinks he is childish and he “destroyed everything” for them during the arena games on Friday. She then went a step further, telling Big Brother that she doesn’t trust Hannington because “there is something about his eyes that makes it difficult for one to know what he may be up to”. Tatiana also nominated Uti, which she found a difficult thing to do, but she did not like how he had badmouthed her Big Brother 2 housemates, Richard and Ofunneka the previous night. Lerato, taking her turn in the Diary Room for nominations, told Big Brother that Sammi and Tatiana had to go. She felt that Sammi wasn’t getting on with everyone in the house, which she thought perhaps had something to do with him being a fair amount older than his housemates. Her second nomination went to Tatiana, because she could save herself. Mwisho nominated Uti and Hannington, who he feels are playing the game as a team. He said both of them are strong as individuals but are even stronger as a team. He feels that they are “backing each other up”, which makes them a threat. Kaone chose the house’s “dancing queens”, Tatiana and Meryl. He said that Tatiana was his friend and his nomination was based on the fact that she could save herself. He then named Meryl, his “neighbour” – because Botswana and Namibia are close to each other. He said that despite that, “she can’t see me, I’m invisible to her” and that he felt she was inconsiderate. Sammi’s first nomination went to Hannington, who he said is “immature” and has no regard for other people’s feelings. Sammi told Big Brother that Hannington is lazy and doesn’t help out with anything in the house. Uti was next on Sammi’s list. He felt that Uti needed to start respecting everyone and never tried to help anyone around the house. Back to Top |
