WINDHOEK - Standard Bank Namibia recently donated a photocopier machine, computer and printer to the Oniihwa Combined School in the Oshikoto Region
Speaking at the handover occasion Standard Bank Namibia's Head of Marketing, Thaddius Maswahu, said: "I am confident that the facilities that Standard Bank Namibia is donating today, will most certainly improve the administration function of the school and ultimately the performance and quality of education. "In achieving its goals the Ministry of Education stresses the importance of partnership and it is in that spirit that we at Standard Bank Namibia have become a forerunner when it comes to supporting educational initiatives. "At Standard Bank Namibia we firmly believe that a well-educated nation is a rich nation - as knowledge not only empowers, but it is a great source of inspiration that contributes to the overall economy of the country," he said. Receiving the donation on behalf of the school, the Patron Vilbard Usiku expressed his gratitude to Standard Bank Namibia for contributing to such a worthy cause. Usiku also made use of the opportunity to encourage the learners to make good use of their time at school, and called on all time dedication when it comes to their studies. Back to Top |
